Lost Friends Luncheon #122 - 13 July 2011

Connie Wallner, Jim Wallner, and George Huling

Who should wander in to our luncheon on a hot July day other than the Wallners? Jim and Connie were back in town for a few days and came by to get their Tino's fix and catch up on what's been going on. It looks like George Huling is doing the same.

Lost Friends Luncheon #124 - 13 September 2011

L-R: Connie Wallner, Jim Wallner, George Huling

We had a really good turnout for the September luncheon on a day when North Texas was setting a new record for the year of the most 100° days ever in a single year. A little heat never bothered this group as you can see from the way they're plowing into that Mexican food!

Come join us on the 13th of each month, the following Monday if the 13th is on a weekend or holiday, at Tino's in Collin Creek Mall 'round about 11:30 a.m.

We were all sitting around swapping stories and wondering "whatever happened to ...?" If your ears are itching, you'd better show up next time!

Lost Friends Luncheon #126 - 14 November 2011

I missed the October Lost Friends luncheon while I was on a slow boat to China, but November found most of the regulars in attendance. It was good to see everybody and catch up on what had been going on.

It was nice to get my Tex-Mex fix after a couple of months without! Also enjoying the food and fellowship were L-R: Larry Pavlicek, Jim Rushing, Marvin Howard, Carol George, Jerry Brown, and George Huling

We may be little but we're loud! Not really, but we did manage to have a fun time despite our limited number. Jack Bowling came by later to cheer us on.

In the "out" door, etc. Jack Bowling showed up at the closest door and found it locked. Marilyn took pity on him and let him in to join us.

Lost Friends Luncheon #128 - 13 January 2012

Nothing like catching folks with a mouthful of food! Well, we were hungry!

Lost Friends Luncheon #129 - 13 February 2012

On a cold, wet, raw 13th of February there were only four of us that showed up for lunch. While we would have liked to have two or three times that number, it is sometimes nice to have a small enough group to get to talk with everyone and not miss out on anything! Needless to say, we had a grand old time, but would love to have you join us next month!

I actually got around to taking pictures before everyone had demolished the food today. Marilyn decided to get in on the the picture too.

Lost Friends Luncheon #131 - 13 April 2012

On a Friday the thirteenth of April I decided to take the waitress up on the offer to take our picture. I think she does a better job than I do!

Lost Friends Luncheon #132 - 14 May 2012

L-R: Marvin Howard, Jerry Brown, George Huling, and Jim Rushing

We had a nice turnout in May for our luncheon. George Huling was back for a change after the Texas Star Party. He's off to Dayton soon, and there was a lot of talk about Oshkosh from all the pilots at the table. Either Jim Rushing's developed X-ray vision or I need to clean the camera lens!

L-R: Marvin Howard, Jerry Brown, George Huling, and Jim Rushing

Down at the other end of the table ....  Mauricio got the prize for being the last to show up and shared the end of the table with Carol. Looks like it sure didn't slow anybody down though. I may have to mug Harold Shiroma to get that Antartica cap off him!
